Community Service

Winter Garden Lodge is active in multiple facets of local community service.  You will see our members working the election polls, assisting with setup/teardown of city and community events, painting the library in one of the local elementary schools, directing parade traffic, and helping keep our community clean. Recently Winter Garden Lodge adopted a stretch of State Highway 50 (East Colonial Drive) starting at Dillard and continuing out past Avalon. The Adopt-A-Highway program provides local businesses, civic organizations, and schools the opportunity to make an impact on the cleanliness and appearance of the community. By accepting the responsibility and leadership of cleaning the assigned roadway of litter and debris, these groups are not only increasing awareness of litter issues and the impact of beautification efforts but are also demonstrating a positive behavior of local pride and ownership of their community.
