Winter Garden WIns Travelling Gavel Trophy

At Eola Lodge No. 207’s stated communication and DDGM official visit on Tuesday, October 18th, 2016, A large contingent of membership from Winter Garden Lodge No. 165 were able to  overpower the fierce competition from our neighbors at Mokanna Lodge No. 329, although they stated that they were only there to support the DDGM, as were we, to win the Traveling Gavel Trophy.  The Junior Warden and Stewards provided a wonderful meal and a great evening of fellowship was enjoyed by all present (41 Masons were in attendance). The DDGM R.W:. Willie B presented his committeemen for the Proud 17th and delivered the Grand Master’s message with pride and enthusiasm.  The Traveling Gavel Trophy will be at Winter Garden Lodge for their next stated communication and family dinner tomorrow night, Thursday, October 20th, 2016 with dinner starting at 6:30 PM.  We welcome any lodges in the district to come and take it home before Mokanna does. If they do, you can go get it from them next Monday.
