FROM THE SECRETARY
Hello Brothers, I would like to wish all of you who have a Birthday in December a very Happy Birthday. You should have received your 2015 dues and donation notices. Grand Lodge has raised the per capita this year. If you struggle with the cost of the dues, please contact the Worshipful Master or myself.
Merry Christmas and a Happy new year

FROM THE EAST
November was a very busy month. I would like to thank all the Brothers that attended the Master Mason Degree a couple of weeks ago.
I would like to welcome the 4 new Master Masons to our fold: Bro. Nery, Bro. Zarth, Bro. Arosenius and Bro. Boyer. We hope to see you active in the Lodge activities.
Our first meeting in December will be our “Election” meeting. Please come out and elect your new officer line. We have a great line of men coming up that will lead our lodge in the coming years. I hope to see everyone there. For you that missed our last meeting, it was Fantastic. We have brothers from England, Scotland and Brazil. Also to present his Forty Year Service Award to Brother Clawson Peacock was Most Worshipful John Provan, Past Grand Master of Germany and Past Master of Brother Peacock’s home Lodge.
Winter Garden continues to grow!! We have two new candidates that will be initiated during our second meeting in December. Come out and support these new brothers. It is always great to see 30-40 men standing there at that appropriate time.
2014 has been a Great Year here at Winter Garden Lodge. It has been a privilege and an honor to serve as Worshipful Master this year. It has been fun and rewarding. I would do it again in a minute, but that would be unfair to those coming up. I want to thank Glenda, my wife, for all of her support during this year. Without her support and help this year, it wouldn’t have been nearly the success it has been. (and we wouldn’t have had any of those Great Desserts!!!) Also, thanks to the Past Masters who’s advice and support I received this year. Lastly, the craft have voted to go Dark on January 1st in observance of the holiday, so I will see everyone at Winter Garden Masonic Lodge Installation of Officers on January 10th at
9am for Breakfast!!! Glenda & I want to wish each and every one of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!!
Thank you again.
Brother Jerry Clark
FROM THE WEST
I wanted to thank everyone who was able to attend all of the events that we had in November. It was a busy month and we appreciate all the participation. We had great attendance at our stated meetings and a great turn out for the degree. Congratulations to our 4 new master masons that were raised on November 15th, Brothers Richard Zarth, Adrian Boyer, Shawn Arosenius, and Leonardo Nery. Welcome to the fraternity and we look forward to your participation with the craft.
We will begin practice for an EA degree during the first week of December. We will attempt to confer this degree during our 2nd stated meeting in December. We have two candidates that will be going through the ceremony. We know that January will be very busy with installations and turn over of leadership in the lodges, so this is our last opportunity to initiate these candidates before February. We look forward to your support and attendance for this degree.
Lastly, I would like to thank all the past masters that attended the meeting on November 17th. I appreciated the comments and guidance that you gave me. If elected, I will do my best to serve the craft with honor and integrity and look forward to an exciting and successful year. Our lodge continues to expand its footprint within West Orange County. Thanks again to all the brothers for your continued participation in this endeavor. If we haven’t seen you in lodge recently, we would love to see you again. There are new and exciting things happening in our lodge. Come by and visit with us.

FROM THE SOUTH
December greetings from the south.
As my season in the south is coming to a close, I reflect on an exciting year. The challenge of cooking for 20-700 people and mostly not knowing how many will show up. How to make a meal that will be filling, tasty, safe, and economic. How to provide masonic education in lodge that is informative, yet fits in the constraints specified by Grand Lodge for the source of material. Working with the mentors and other lodge officers to make sure the candidates and brothers are moving through their masonic course of study be in catechism or Master Mason Exams. Truly the support of the brotherhood has made this opportunity so much smoother and in no way is it a job accomplished by one.
That said, a few more things to try to deliver before our new year. The first, our Winter Garden Christmas parade meal. Certainly making hamburger and hot dogs will be much simpler than the 4th of July breakfast assortment. But extra hands to prepare, assemble, and sell are always appreciated. Our December meal will be hamburger pie since it was such a hit the last time. That’s ground beef mixed with mashed potato and corn. We finally have the material for lodge officer course and would love to get this in this calendar year. No date scheduled but will try to find a window.
As we enter this holiday season, remember others. Think of what you can do to bring joy or help out one another. Celebrate the joy of children, their innocence and fascination with the season. Think of our older members and widows, how their holiday my be both full of reminiscing for those times and family that have past, and may be alone this season.
Bro. Mark Kirkley,
FROM THE CHAPLAIN
Hello my Brothers, here we are in December already. Despite all the busy activity for the coming celebration, December in a wonder filled time in our lives. It is a time for hope and peace and love for one another. A time to put aside past grievances and anger. A special time to remember to control our passions and be a testimony to brotherly love in all we do and say. A time to be charitable to family and friends and others less fortunate than ourselves. I wish all of you a Blessed Christmas Time.
