FROM THE SECRETARY
We would like to wish all the Brothers who have an April Birthday, HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!
Thank you brethren for getting you checks in for your 2015 dues. There are still a few who haven’t paid yet. Time is short, we will be voting to suspend those who have not paid in a few weeks. So get your checks in. Remember, your dues help keep the lights and water on at YOUR lodge.
See you in lodge soon,
Fraternally, W:.Sec. Jerry Clark
FROM THE EAST
The first quarter of the year has already flown by. I expect the the second quarter to pass by just as fast. We still have a lot to accomplish before the end of the year. We have an influx of new candidates that will be going through the various degrees in the upcoming month. We will start with the first group of three that will be balloted on at the first stated communication in April with an EA Degree to follow shortly after. We should be receiving the next group of petitions at our second stated communication in April (another 3-5 candidates). It also looks like we could have a third group right after that. Our current EA’s, Brother Thomas Brassil and Bruce Earl, are working on there EA catechism and should be able to return their proficiency by the beginning of May with a FC Degree to follow shortly after that. We have a lot of positive momentum in new membership right now which could potentially lead to at least a dozen new members this year. It is a good sign that we are growing again.
In addition to the upcoming degrees, we will be adding masonic educational programs where we can to continue to educate the current membership and make the meetings more entertaining. We are also in the process of updating our lodge membership contact information lists. This will give us an opportunity to reach out to members that are no longer active in the fraternity or attend meetings and encourage them to come back. Winter Garden Lodge is in an ideal location to make a huge impact in our community, but it will take a larger number of active brothers to achieve this. I know that we can do it with some effort. Thank you all for your ongoing support.
I look forward to seeing you all during the upcoming events, and would encourage you to reach out to a member that you haven’t seen in a while and invite them to lodge again.
Worshipful Master, Winter Garden Lodge No. 165
FROM THE WEST
Fraternal greetings from the West. The sun is in the south just a bit later in the day with the time change so hopefully this extra “light” will allow us all to contribute a bit more to our obligations. As we help bring others to light, we have many more candidates interested in our fraternity. A sign of our efforts of spreading the word and being positive examples in our works and demeanor.
Degree time approaches. The EA team will be myself, Riggy, Dan, Scotty, Victor, Austin, and Shawn. If all goes well the degree will be second meeting in April so come out to welcome new brothers.

FROM THE SOUTH
I wish to thank everyone who stepped-up and assisted in the meal for the DDGM visit. I would rather been there than where I was. Am much better and should be at the next meeting. As of now I don’t have a plan for our next meal on 16 April, 2015.
Degree work is starting to pick-up so come help with the program. Would like to see some old faces back in Lodge and assisting with the degree work.

FROM THE CHAPLAIN
Greetings my Brothers.
Spring is here. The weather couldn’t be better. Life is good. I hope you are as blessed by our Almighty Father as I certainly am. Our Lodge is certainly blessed with a very fine Leadership Team. And we have so many new Master Mason Brothers and more petitions to be acted on. I sincerely hope that each and every one of us makes the extra effort to reach out to these new Brothers to welcome & support them. That brotherly love has meant a lot to me over my lifetime as a Master Mason. At a time when some lodges are having difficulty with declining membership & finances, Winter Garden # 165 F&AM is prospering. Let us give praises to the Supreme Architect of the Universe for our many blessings. We are reminded to live a righteous life in all that we say & do & to be faithful to our Creator.
As for sickness and/ or distress among our Brothers, I have no new reports or information on any Brother at the time of this writing.
Fraternally, Brother Joe Gracey, Chaplain.
