  1. My Brothers, here is what we know about R W Jack Quesinberry as of 9:00 PM last night.
Brother Jack fell at home sometime between 2:00 AM & 6;45 AM Wednesday. He was taken to Health Central Emergency Room where it was determined by an MRI that he had a stroke. He has been transferred to Doctor Phillips Hospital where they have the best ICU monitoring equipment & an available bed ( ORMC did not have a bed available ). Bro Jack will be at Dr Phillips for monitoring etc for a few days. It has also been determined that Bro Jack has had several small heart attacks over the past months. This was not known previously. Bro Jack fell on his left side. He has a large bruise on his head, bruised left arm & his left arm, left eye & about one quarter of his lips on the left side are affected. He is conscious & his thinking & reasoning are clear & rational but he is having slurred speech. His entire family & Pastor Rusty Belcher have been & continue to be with him. Gloria is exhausted from all of this event. His Daughter Amy emailed me to contact her this afternoon for an update on Bro Jack’s most recent status. I should have the latest info for sharing with the brothers at lodge this evening. At this time, lots of prayer is needed for Jack & Gloria & their family. Until I hear differently, I would not recommend visiting Bro Jack at this time. When I hear that visitation is OK & appropriate I will let you know.
    Bro Joe Gracey.

  2. We received the following from RW Jack’s daughter Amy:

“The nurses had Daddy sitting in a chair this morning. He is talking non-stop, which is good, and he’s aware of everything. His mind is still sharp; no damage there! He is having trouble swallowing right now. The doctor is very optimistic about his recovery, although it will be a long road and he will have to go to rehab. He’s moving both arms and legs now. Thank you for your prayers.”
